I used to have no idea if a C was different from a B.

I could be standing there playing with a band, thinking to myself “What key are they in...” but I didn’t know what to do next. This would often leave me fumbling around my instrument for the right key, and many times I was dead wrong, as I didn’t get it right the first time...or the second or even the third time!
